LOY EXCELLENTIA INITIATIVE is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Aloysius Anyichie in 2023 to promote excellence among students of African descent. Currently, this excellence initiative offers a unique platform for mentoring students and professionals of African descent in Canada. Our mentorship program empowers mentees with the essential knowledge and skills for navigating new academic institutions, their community, career paths and excel in their chosen field.
What We Do
Loy Excellentia Initiative empowers students of African descent to excel through mentorship programs, professional development workshops, community engagement and social events. We connect post-secondary school mentees with mentors.
Mentorship fosters learning and development by offering insights, advice, and perspectives gained from the mentor’s experiences. It empowers mentees to navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and excel in their endeavors.
